Throughout the week starting Tuesday 9th May 2023 we will be updating the MySQL database server software on our shared cPanel hosting services from MySQL version 5.7 to MySQL version 8.0. This update will require a brief outage of the database service during this upgrade process.
Generally MySQL 8.0 is backwards-compatible with MySQL 5.7 and as such this should not in most cases require any action from yourselves, however please contact our support team if you have any questions or need assistance.
